Veteran Garrett has been very excited to find his furry little friend. He took much time to find Ginger, and asked many questions because he hasn't had a dog since childhood. He has explored various training techniques, books, and has found some great classes for Ginger. This pup is in good hands.
Here is what he wrote on his first day with Ginger
Ginger was exceedingly energetic so I spent the day trying to wear her out. She is knocked out now. (picture attached)
Actually, I just got the chance to eat for the first time today. ( 10pm )
I changed her name to Ginger. I just love her.. She is so sweet.
She seems to be house trained so far. She seems to be getting the leash training already. She is super friendly. She loves everybody and seems to love dogs but still need to learn some manners. She was much bigger than expected so she refused to get in the small carrier I brought so I sent the picture of her ride from rescue.
I have her scheduled her for a shampoo tomorrow and a come when called class. I'm going to attempt to do some obedience training on my own before enrolling her in a class.
Also, the process was really smooth. The folks over at Wright Way was exceptional. I thank all of you again.
I have included first day photos but will send you a better pic to post on the website.
Thank you again,
